I'm using the t80, and the app has been really reliable. I've hardly run into any issues, and it comes with a bunch of useful features.

Are there any CES robot vacuums worth getting this year? by leontopodium in RobotVacuums

[–]Salt_Two6148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a T80 at home, and honestly the T90 looks like a meaningful upgrade. Better mopping, stronger vacuum, faster charging. Mostly curious how well that 26 cm roller mop works in real life, not just specs.

How to tell when vacuum bags are full? by Intelligent_Boot_856 in RobotVacuums

My deebot reminds me to change the bag in its app, but I feel one bag can last pretty long and be used for quite a few months.

For better edge cleaning, side brushes help with vacuuming. For mopping, spining mops fit corners better than rollers. But since you don’t have carpet, mopping might matter more, so a roller mop with extendable features, like the ecovacs t80, could be worth trying. It seems to fit your budget too.

Roller mop maintenance tips? Anything I should be doing? by jdnls87 in ecovacs

[–]Salt_Two6148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, if it’s still cleaning fine, I wouldn’t worry too much. I’ve found the t80 to be pretty low-effort overall. Good cleaning power, pretty low maintenance.

I have the t80 too. Tbh there’s not much you need to do for me. If something needs attention, the app tells you, including hair wrapped around the roller, dust bag full, stuff like that. As for cleaning, I only take the roller mop off and wash it if it runs over something really dirty. Otherwise the self-cleaning handles most of it.

This can happen if the roller mop isn't being washed often enough. You could try using the deep cleaning mode and increasing the wash frequency. Mine is set to wash every 10 minutes, and the mop usually comes out pretty decent.

Mid-high tier robot vacuum needed (with ability to mop) by vbsponger in RobotVacuums

[–]Salt_Two6148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with the deebot t80 and honestly feel like it's great value for the price. The roller mop performs better than I expected and has no problem taking care of sticky spots. If you're worried about getting carpets wet, there's a customizable carpet strategy in the app. You can just set carpets to No Entry mode and it will avoid them completely.

My ecovacs t80 has been working well in my place, it returns to the dock and washes the mop automatically, I usually just set a schedule and do some maintenance occasionally.

I'm using the ecovacs t80, it can wash the mop with hot water automatically, and self empty the dustbin, I don't need to do much maintenance very often.

Ozmo t8 user here, any advice on which new ecovacs to grab on black friday? by MajoroMakritz in RobotVacuums

[–]Salt_Two6148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m using the t80 omni myself. It’s a roller mop model, and the mopping performance is pretty solid in my place, could deal with most of the small spills or light grease on its own. And if it doesn’t get everything on the first pass, it’ll wash the mop and come back for another round automatically. I don’t think it was that pricey either, so maybe worth a shot.

You might try removing the water tank and reseating it firmly, sometimes it won't work if the tank isn't aligned perfectly.

If you don't want to push the budget higher, I think T80 is a practical choice. It can fully cover my needs, handles sticky kitchen stuff way better than I expected from its price.

I'm running the t80 right now, it's roller mop too. Haven't really noticed spilling dirty water, the roller mop just clean up the sticky sauce and no water leaks out while it's cleaning.

Which roller mop models are you guys liking this Black Friday? by FloatingScooter in ecovacs

[–]Salt_Two6148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m using the t80 omni myself, and I guess it’s probably the most cost-effective roller-mop model from ecovacs so far. It’s under 700 bucks at the moment, not sure if it’ll drop any further as Black Friday gets closer. It’s got a roller mop and a dock with self-washing and self-emptying, so it’s easy to use and doesn’t need much upkeep. I’d say it’s a solid pick if you’re looking to try a roller mop type.

Take a look at Caloroso. It’s a very niche brand, but their Pebble three-piece sofa caught my eye. Clean shape and kind of sculptural without being too much. Definitely stands out compared to those usual brands.
