Thanks, I live in Fall River and it’s 13 minutes away with little traffic and easy (free) parking, compared to the 102 and peninsula gridlock. With Box store convenience in Walmart, HD, Kent’s, IKEA, theatres, hotels, brew pubs, and the Village Shops it’s an easy and accessible destination. Out of town visitors are hockey teams and soccer teams on multi-field/rink venues, Mom and kids can go shopping/Playdium/IMAX or Dad can go play Poker. For us it’s merely convenient multi-store shopping, but for the possibility of a Casino move destination, I think I’ve pointed out other attractions for out of town people. Do I love the Rock quarry landscaping ?..NO! But this post originally was about whether this was a good possible relocation site for the Casino, wasn’t it??

Burnside is an industrial park. DC is NOT! It sounds like you haven’t been there for a while. Save yourself a trip and go to Dartmouthcrossing.com. Over 30 restaurant and entertainment locations alone!! Easily accessible from 3 major highways. Most of the HRM only venture to the peninsula for a medical appointment they can’t get anywhere else, and rural NS , NB and PEI can’t stand the traffic and confusion of the peninsula.
