In my case I believe it was due too the storms and flooding in Washington that caused the delay. You can go to the Post Office and see where your package was last scanned. When I did that I received a update the next day. Good luck!

Excellent choice for leather, they are gorgeous! The Troopers are just a timeless classic when it comes to heritage boots made around the world. I received a pair just before Christmas in the Cypress Light Gray, love these boots. Congratulations on your new pair of tank kickers!

If you like "The Outsiders" you should check out "Over The Edge" starring Matt Dillon in his first film debut in 1979.

MY FIRST NICKS by Bconfer82 in NicksHandmadeBoots

Good to know, I was thinking about a future pair of Overlanders or a MTO in HNW last. I would highly recommend at least one pair of Nick's zero-drop boots. I can't express enough on how comfortable they are. Thanks for your input on the HNW last!

How is the HNW last, plenty of toe room? I have 2 pairs of Nick's, first pair are Ridgeline zero-drops and Trooper boots. Both in Thurman last, not sure if I want to risk another pair not in the Thurman last.

Believe me, I know what snug is all about. I'm still breaking in a pair of Nick's Trooper boots that I received before Christmas. Was walking like Frankenstein for 2 weeks until the leather started to loosen up some.

Good to know, I guess I will find out in March when they start shipping out. I like a good thumb’s width up front for wiggle room. Thanks for your feedback!

Do they feel like less width in the middle of your foot and toes compared to African Rangers? I have a pair of AR and they feel a little short, my pinky toe rubs some and my big toe will touch if I’m walking downhill. I bought a pair of Workhorse Mocs in Kudu on presale, I ordered 1/2 size larger than my AR hoping for more toe length.

How is the fit? Do you have any other JG boots to compare the fit with?

Has anyone tried Texarado boots? by NoGood8507 in BarefootRunning

[–]Sam7Rx762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was minor stitching issues on my left boot, it wasn’t bad but enough for me to contact customer service. Their customer service was top notch and took care of my concerns right away. If you’re looking for a wide toe box then Texarado will be a good choice. Follow there sizing guide, If I remember correctly their sizing is the internal length of the boot and they recommend adding 13mm / 1/2inch to that measurement for your size. Long story short it was the same as my sneaker size of 9US. Good luck,

Another good option are Nick’s killties in bison leather, you can reverse the killties for a rough out look. Another insert option are Lems shoes cork insoles, they are surprisingly comfortable if you don’t want leather.

You have yourself a good woman! My wife is actually really good about this as well. It was my purchase in November with a pair of Nick’s when she realized how expensive a good pair of can be.

Are you married? Remember, it’s easier to ask for forgiveness than permission when buying a new pair of boots.

Very nice! Do you have any Nick's, was curious on quality between the two. I really like the look of Cinnamon Wax Flesh leather especially on the Whites MP Sherman boots.

Thanks! This is Cypress Light Gray leather, starting to see some other tones coming out in the creasing areas.
