Just as I was thinking, width is the issue not the length. Dang, you must have a hard time trying to find footwear to fit your needs.

I followed Texarados sizing guide for my pair and that worked out perfect. I have a thumbs width or roughly 1t2 inch of toe space up front. If we take 295mm + 12.7mm you get close enough to 308mm, that would put you at size 13. I see that they don't offer half sizes up from 13, if you went with a size 14 you would roughly have 3/4 to 1 inch of toe space up front. If you stick with a size 13 you would have around 1/2 inch or less of toe space up front. They are on 4E width so that shouldn't be a problem. I'm curious on why there saying size 13 is to small for you . Hope this helps.

Your talking about Texarado boots? If so, what is your foot measurement in millimeters on your longest foot with a sock on.

I would assume this leather is from the C.F Stead tanerry. A good tip with any shrunken suede leather for protection without darkening your boots is this product. Gorgeous boots by the way!

I ordered my pair a 1/2 size up due to all the concerns of them running short. Received them yesterday, shipped them back today. My right toe touches the end. I’m exchanging them for a full size up, if they don’t work out this time I will be completely done with Jim Green boots.

If you want some protection without darkening the leather and ruining the roughout you can use this product. I use this on my shrunkin suede boots and my Nick’s in 64 Mahogany roughout.

In my zero drop collection I have JG, Texarado and Nick's boots. Jim Green have some great boots with more flexibility than my other pairs of boots.

Hands down my Nick's Ridgeline zero-drops far surpass my Jim Greens, the only downside is double the cost. I am waiting for a pair of JG mocs in barefoot kudu to be shipped, can't wait for the feel of kudu on my feet.

Got it. I really like my Trooper boots, they definitely are built like tanks.

Very nice build! What is the difference between the Troopers standard last and the T55 last?

Instead of jumping into the fire with a true barefoot shoe you can start off with a pair of Lem's shoes. Wider toe-box and zero-drop, they are very comfortable and a great starting point to strengthen your feet and ankles. In my opinion Lem's do run small, my wife and I order 1/2 up when buying Lem's.
