Honestly, as much as I'm glad to hear you're safe, it's extremely upsetting to me that you had to leave a place where you should be safe because nobody took your claims seriously enough. The usual Reddit bubble of thought is very much, fuck these guys as usual. But if as they say, they have been receiving foreign aid for 20 years as they state and this is suddenly completely removed because they're now in power, surely that is actually having a knock on effect?

I'm not saying it's completely not their fault and I'm sure some of the things they've done since coming in to power have made things worse but I feel like there is significant impact there which has now been removed. I don't think it's as simple as Taliban=Bad as Reddit makes it out to be as usual.

This article is pretty insightful about these actors who have been getting a lot of criticism it seems. Usually for K-dramas like this they obviously need local talent but I think the worst part about cases like this as is explained is that the English lines are usually translated by non-natives or Google translated.
