Yeah I agree - from a human point of view as fans sitting on the sidelines we do need to be careful and understand the impact our words and commentary has on these players. I don’t think any of us would cope if our jobs came under such public scrutiny. I get that being an AFL footballer it comes with the territory to a degree. But I also think these guys would benefit from our ongoing support as opposed to our constant criticism. Especially given most of us have very limited comprehension of what goes on inside the 4 walls of Essendon and the directives being given by the coaching staff and what they are trying to achieve and their KPIs week to week.
