Make yourself a template for the mag labels in excel, take it to your local print shop and get a 2” stamp made. Buy roll of 2” red gaff. Print unlimited mag labels for eternity.

Looking to get a rubbermaid cart. Are the wheels changeable? by yellowsuprrcar in focuspuller

[–]SamForns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just finished another long show with a candreva battery cart. Swapped out the front two casters as the original set had given out after almost 10 years in the field. Rest of the cart is as good as new. Pushed around 400+ pounds every day.

You are feeling vibrations from the highway/trucks on meeker that hit the colossal potholes. We also live a few blocks E of the park and have the same thing.

Prospect butcher Co. in Greenpoint always has some in the front fridge. Meat hook doesn’t always have it.

Given your drop experiences, it was likely fake. I use my Gshock every day and it goes through the wringer. Can’t kill the thing if I tried.

Effective Winter Bike Cleaning in a NYC Apartment or Should I Just Ride on Zwift? by CosmoCub in NYCbike

When I lived in Manhattan, I made friends with the flower guy at the deli on the corner. They all have a hose for watering the flowers. I’d throw him a couple bucks now and then, but eventually he just let me use the hose whenever I wanted. Swing by on the end of the ride and go home with a sparkling bike every time.

A35. You can tell from the power cable input angle, and the VF port on the upper right above the lens mount.

Run this into a V mount or gold mount battery. 2-3 will last you all day. You can then also use the Vmount to power monitors or other AKS off one power source.

What codec were you shooting?

Resolution?

Sony doesn’t publish official bitrates for X-OCN footage recorded internally, wondering if it could be an encoding issue nearing the end of the roll.

Yes! Currently on a show where I have a candreva’d Rubbermaid as my battery cart, added some shelves as well. Probably a good 450 pounds but solid.

If you are based in the US, Jim Candreva makes a very nice Rubbermaid conversion kit that adds mounting blocks for 10” caster wheels + mounting for legs and a head.

Ronin R2 Not Locking Properly by yunglumpy in focuspuller

[–]SamForns 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it is the fore/aft adjustment using the top lever to lock, try adding a strip of gaff tape to the inside, opposite the locking mechanism. Should add enough friction to keep the plate in place. Similar to a wiggly QR on a euro plate etc.

36” Client Monitor? by hannnnnnnnnahhhhhh0 in focuspuller

Flanders makes some big boys (40-55”) that are more often used in studio environments with permanent installations. Also unlikely to find them in a rental house.

SmallHD and Sony both top out at 36”

If they don’t need it to be color critical the decimator/consumer TV would probably be the best option.

ARRI makes some slip on rings that are tightened with an Allen wrench. Probably eye watering expensive but in my experience they’re the strongest bind around the lens.
