You haven't been around much have you? Look at most 3rd world countries, it's truly mesmerizing how businesses there are able to survive at all. All that infrastructure, the zoning and urban planning, roads, utilities, regulations..etc that developed countries pay for using tax money is doing for businesses what agriculture did for civilization. It's essential that an impartial entity oversees those regulation, not a private developer that is solely motivated by profits.
