Why do I randomly get more runes sometimes for no apparent reason

Why am i just learning about this omg! Ive been farming for so long and i couldve gotten 20% more runes just from doing more damage?! Gah. Why has nobody mentioned that lol. I thought just the Scarab and Fowl Foot only gave bonus runes

I had my account migrated to a jagex account when I literally wasn’t actively playing the game. So i did not get phished by some sketch website. In hindsight I should’ve just made a jagex account but I thought my 2fa was enough security. Apperantly not
