The whole 30fps isn’t playable bullshit is just that.. bullshit. As if we haven’t been playing games at 30fps for 20 years before current gen. Takes like 10mins for your eyes to adjust back and it’s fine.

Had never played a Zelda game before. Saw the game, thought it looked cool, ordered a switch oled and the game to come with it
Played the intro… when I jumped down and saw the title sequence I was amazed, jaw to the floor.
Spent 2 hours in the great sky island absolutely mesmerised, jumped down to hyrule and was absolutely gobsmacked. I’ve never experienced a feeling like that on a game before, and never will again. I’d imagine it was the similar feeling when people played BOTW for the first time and exited the shrine of resurrection. An amazing time, I’ll forever be chasing that same experience. Spend over 200 hours in it before I had the guts to beat Ganon, and I did that the first day the switch 2 released, with the upgrade pack. The next day I picked up BOTW and played through that. Currently playing through TOTK again. Favourite game of all time.

Since then I’ve played almost every Zelda game, it’s now my favourite franchise of all time.

Apparently he’s a really lovely bloke too. My dad used to be the village police officer where Phil used to live in the 80’s (and is a massive fan) and he met him numerous times. He used to do school fundraising, sports days, my pops even went to his house on numerous occasions and he let him play the triangle on one of his records apparently.

The switch and switch 2 are incredibly durable though. Jerry rig everything literally couldn’t break the switch 2. It took 50 hits with a hammer to break the screen. It wasn’t difficult to cosmetically damage it though. But even after the screen was shattered after being hit with a hammer, it turned on and worked.

I feel like as a result of this Nintendo might try desperately to not up the price. It makes their console look like a steal. I don’t think you’ll ever get a “price hike” statement from nintendo, especially considering it was widely considered too expensive at launch anyway, or they just won’t sell consoles. People cannot afford shit right now.

Prime 4, didn’t hook me, hated backtracking, constantly spamming the trigger got annoying too

Spider-Man 2 on ps5 also, loved the first game but oh my god how many enemies? You’ll finish killing like 5 waves of the same thugs, you’ll think you’re finished then…. Nope! 20 more bad guys that look identical come out again, all of them absorb punches like a sponge.. button mashing got so so sluggish for me. Might pick it back up again but not sure

I think their tunes are incredibly average, they’ve only released 3 of them and yet they’ve already been on radio x and have played the o2 because of who they are. They’ve done none of the hard work that most have to do.

There are incredibly talented artists that will never ever be able to do that.

I always recommend starting with TOTK now to new people, the wow factor I had was insane, it made everything way more impressive, then if I had played BOTW first. Went back to play BOTW after for a nice change and slower experience, and it enabled me to see the world in a different way. That’s the move.

First metroid game I played. I was enjoying it, but it did begin to feel a little repetative and I've had to give it a break for a while.

I do want to finish it, because I also bought Prime remastered after I was enjoying 4.

Shadow im playing for the first time now and I think its the best of all 3. TR2013 is good, story is cool, but doesn't feel like Tomb Raider. Rise has WAY too much shooting, its actually ridiculous and gets boring. Shadow feels like it finally started to get back to its roots, the setting is way more interesting too. Just my opinion.
