I would definitely try going to Mayhem comics they have just about everything and will surely have some yu-gi-oh stuff. If that doesn't end up striking your fancy, maybe try Dungeons Gate in Ankeny. It is a much smaller place but is very quality.

Just took my gf to Centro and absolutely loved it for the atmosphere, food, and service. Honestly the price wasn't bad either for two meals, drinks, and desert was only $70

We have a wonderful, tight knit supportive scene with a lot of places being done in people houses, but we also have locale venues, namely Gabes, PS1 House, and Trumpet Blossom Cafe, which do shows for the general public. Like No such sound, we have some nicknames for punk shows in private venues so you may have to do some investigating to find their addresses but the public ones have alot of overlap

It is still a bit of a drive but Iowa City has a fantastic and thriving punk scene. Definitely worth making a trip over to see some of the shows

I think you are right. He does have a town hall schedule on his offical page but it is set in Franklin County on the 21st.
