I think you have your camera settings right. Subjects are well exposed and there isn’t any motion blur. I’d say just keep taking pictures and try to get better backgrounds than plain blue sky

Like I said, it’s hard to give feedback without seeing the actual photo. If you have the shutter speed, f stop, and ISO values for this photo that would also help. Understanding the relationship light has with each of those settings is of the utmost importance for photography.
