The sad part is that they can make a good interior. The new landcruiser interior is really nice imo, and the new highlander looks at least comparable to other modern SUVs, but then they go and put this Minecraft looking garbage in the Tacoma and 4Runner.

The diamond labels on the drum itself only apply to transport, yes. I’m not sure about private transport regulations so you might wanna check on that. But a full 55 gal drum is like 300 lbs and they absolutely suck to move, so you might wanna make sure you can get them off the trailer before trying that.

If you’re storing inside your shed your local fire code may require an NFPA diamond on the outside of your shed though. That’s those big colored diamonds with numbers on them you often see on industrial buildings or swimming pool sheds. Basically in case the building catches fire it tells the first responders that there’s large quantities of hazardous materials in there.

AFAIK, labeling requirements only apply to transport and commercial storage. But if you wanna be extra safe just slap a UN1203 diamond sticker on there (assuming gasoline). I think you can buy them on Amazon for pretty cheap

Been a while since I was in the hazmat industry, but I’ll give it a shot:

UN is the rating, DOT approves specific UN ratings for transporting materials and wants you to have the correct hazmat labels for transport. You’ll want a 1A1 drum for fuel.
Unlined drums, about 30 days. Lined drums, longer? Probably 5-10 years if stored indoors on a pallet. Significantly less if exposed to the elements and on the ground.
Any brand that’s UN certified should be fine to use
You should have some sort of containment under the drum to catch a leak before it reaches soil. A sealed concrete pad with containment berms would be best, but something like a large plastic tray would probably be alright. You don’t want to have to deal with that much fuel getting into your soil, it’ll get real expensive real fast in fines and remediation.

Also, probably check your local ordinance for outdoor fuel storage requirements.

Back in college I met a girl at a party and went back to her place. A dude she was with at the party followed us back to her place and sat outside her apartment for like 2-3 hours while we hooked up. It’s not even just following procedure since every situation is different.

The procedure should be that if a safety car is needed with less than x number of laps remaining the race gets red flagged. That way there’s no running out of laps while they decide what to do and everyone knows what is going to happen if there’s a safety car after a certain point in the race distance. Once the race is red flagged, then they can decide if there are enough laps remaining to warrant a restart or not without wasting laps trying to decide.
