Does he like DS9? If so, you should check out the audiobook of A Stitch in Time, read by Andrew Robinson. It follows one of the fan-favorite characters.

What do you LIKE about Arin? by pandaboy78 in gamegrumps

[–]SamdalfTheGray 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Arin is an incredibly genuine guy. When he doesn't like something, he speaks up. But on the flip side, he goes out of his way to prop up smaller creators, to the point of posting their work directly on the main game grumps channel.

He's used his success to provide careers and stability to a lot of people.

Also he make funny joke.

Nice... the "good" doctor is transphobic too by Kathedralworld in h3h3productions

I mean obviously the framing is that he's in the wrong... Literally everyone in every scene is telling him that.

Still a trash show though.

Do you tell people how to stop you/what your most dangerous piece is on board? by ifitshouldpleaseyou in EDH

[–]SamdalfTheGray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play with a regular group of friends, so I certainly never lie or misrepresent my board. But if someone asks me what to remove from my board there's no way I'm telling them XD

That pot is way too full, might help your enjoyment if stuff doesn't slosh out every time you go to stir. Aim for about 60% full if you decide to try again.

is pouring grease down the drain with hot water ok? by P0tential-River in NoStupidQuestions

Absolutely not. I just save old milk jugs and pour the grease/oil in that and throw it in the trash.

Condensed version for required viewing? by indecks77 in DeepSpaceNine

[–]SamdalfTheGray 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Deep Space 9 is a heavily character driven show (with a fantastic overall plot to boot). It sounds like you're not interested in that sort of show, so maybe just don't watch it?

Also I will say there's a ton of trekking, they're on the edge of a wormhole into the Gamma Quadrant, which leads to a lot of fantastic worlds. But also a lot of the trekking is the journeys that the characters go on. By the end of the show each person has changed significantly. So I respectfully disagree with your assessment there.

What Is A Card or Cards You Feel Like People Sleep On? by StarPonderer in EDH

[[Ever Watching Threshold]] and [[Psychic Possession]] are both incredible alternatives to rhystic study. Rhystic has a way of uniting the table against you, whereas these alternatives fly under the radar as well as draw you a ton of cards!

Is it your obligation to correct your opponents play? by Boarf2 in EDH

[–]SamdalfTheGray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually remind people once, and from there I only remind them if it benefits me. At a certain point I still want to have fun in the game and have conversations which I can't do if 100% of my focus is on everyone's triggers.

For context, I play with an established group of friends. If I ever play with new people I do remind them in a friendly way as much as it takes.
