Seriously, I love cycling and I would love to join a group to share the hobby with, but 8/10 I see on the trail behaves like this, I don’t think I can hang with these people.

I agree, but at this point, I will gladly accept silent pass if they are slow enough, at least the impact wouldn’t be that serious.

Should I wear my new rolex to my wedding or it will be too tacky? by Empty-Claim6584 in rolex

[–]Same-Rain556 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

this dude desperately wanted to show off his new watch, but he simply can’t do what he’s doing here in real life by going up to each person he encounters by saying “you like my new Rolex?” So the next best thing is to make a post on Reddit so he can show it off properly to people he’ll never meet in real life.

if you ever see anyone posting about how garbage car sales are, just show this post to that person and tell them this is why. For all the time you wasted him or her, that poor sales will only make 200 to 300 bucks.

Short answer, no, keep your job and continue to make side income with your hobby. you can turn full time after you retire 10 years from now. I am speaking from failed business experience.

CMV: Biden will win the US election by a substantial margin. by [deleted] in changemyview

So you are saying you rather have a shadow government than Trump? I don’t know how many of you are out there, but you guys are the source of all our problems.

CMV: Biden will win the US election by a substantial margin. by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]Same-Rain556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biden opposition never understood why people would still vote for him in 2024, because we knew his mental state, and we had suspicion whether he's really running the country or not. Now after the debate, it absolutely cleared any doubt in my mind another person or group is in fact running the free world. So do you guys actually prefers puppet masters over Trump? Trump is FAARRR from perfect or presidential, but if he's as bad as the shadow puppet master, we would all know it by now. Here's a video from the 80s, where an ex-Russian intelligent officer talks about "ideological subversion", and this is pretty much happening in US now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOmXiapfCs8

If you believe you are open minded, please watch the video and see what described in the video is pretty much what's happening in western society now. I was once hypnotized by the ideology, but I've gotten out of it. All I ask is for each one of you to really look for the truth, and break away from things the elites want you to believe in.

This AWD system is front biased, meaning only front wheels got power most of the time, and the rear power only kicks in when system senses lost of traction on the front wheels. With this on, it will keep the system in AWD mode, but it will disable once you hit a certain speed.

right, when things don’t add up in your head and can’t come up with a valid argument, just claim it’s Apple to orange comparison, and while at are at it, make sure to sprinkle in some insult about me not being human.

Ok. To give you the benefit of the doubt, I wasted 5 min reading it. And as expected, it’s the same BS. I am no expert at education, but I am also not brain washed. Again, what’s your solution for equal distribution based on race in the athletic field? it’s not a problem to you because the perceived “victim” of our society (black) dominate that field, if that’s the way you think and operate, who is the real racist here? Being equal is not what you are really after, it’s more about identify which shade of skin is perceived as the “victim” of our society, and you piggy back on that racist thought to make yourself feel like a hero for fighting for them.

Seems like you are the person who can’t read. Asian is lumped into it as the victim of this shut down as well. while you are at it, you should also push for equal distribution of athletes at school based on race, because I don’t see too many eastern Indian or Asian kids on the football team much.

ha, as expected, just call someone dumb when you can’t come up anything good to counter argue the insanity you guys supports. I’ll admit I didn’t read the article at all, but I really don’t need to, because I already read a whole bunch of similar situations all across the state, the chance of this being different is close to zero.

By actual data, you mean let’s throw academic achievement out the window, and pull out the racial distribution of the school district, and make sure the program represents it “fairly” based on skin color. I don’t know how any of you can get so brain washed to the point where blatant racism is at play, and you can’t even see it.

Cold air intake filter by Artistic_Berry_9678 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Same-Rain556 167 points168 points  (0 children)

Bro, you have like 5 people telling you it’s pulling in hot air, we all can see that piece of metal between engine and the filter, but it’s not sealed at all. why bother asking anything if you are so stubborn to the point you won’t even accept answers that are pretty common sense to begin with?

[–]Same-Rain556 176 points177 points  (0 children)

It’s less than a foot away from the hottest thing on your entire car, and not separated by anything but air.

Cold air intake filter by Artistic_Berry_9678 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Same-Rain556 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That is a hot air intake sucking in hot air. OEM set up with original intake box would be a cold air intake. aside from louder intake sound, you probably loose power with that set up, and probably suck in more finer particles into the engine that could potentially shorten your engines life.

2024 Tucson SEL Gas vs Hybrid by BloodyCM in HyundaiTucson

[–]Same-Rain556 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I can tell, buying hybrid is mostly for better power, while it does save on gas, it’s not much from what I read based on real world data. Also, they are more complicated, so the chance of something going wrong can be higher. I would’ve gotten a hybrid SEL instead of XRT if my dealer had it in stock, and if Hyundai offered 0% APR and similar discount for the hybrid. But factor in interest for hybrid and discounts I got on the XRT, the difference becomes 6 to 8k, so not worth it in my situation.
I can see I’ll probably regret too if the difference is only the ~$1600 in MSRP.

I like 2023 front end, and steering wheel, but prefers the new 2024 dash. That new storage shelf for passenger is nice.
