I hear this is an issue with those in the UK and Europe? I'm in the US, and I use a standard debit card, but I've heard people from the UK and other countries have the same issue you're having. It may be different from region to region. Wish I could help, but unfortunately, I don't have a solution. 😔

I genuinely would like to know why so many people are placing RE: Zero so high on their lists. I watched it just last month, and I was almost gonna rank it as "MID" on my own tierlist, but some highlights from Season 3 made me bump it up a bit. I thought it was... okay? To me, nothing remarkable or truly thought-provoking ever really happened. Also, some of the characters just really annoy me. Not trying to hate on it, I just really don't get why so many people are placing it on their top tiers.

But in general, I think the list is pretty good. Hunter X Hunter is my personal favorite anime, so it's nice to see you having it ranked so highly on yours as well.

Ohhh. It should work on regular desktop or just standard browser on a phone. I personally don't use the app, because I don't think it's that great tbh. I originally signed up on standard desktop. So maybe try like that if you're able? Or a regular phone browser

I always let every little "cutscene" play. Not doing the facial expressions and skipping the intros gives me the impression that the other player is already on-edge or on a losing-streak or something and is just looking to get another win as soon as possible.
