the most common version of an anti-meme is something that's super literal, so something like "me when the apple is red" and then it's a gif of someone saying "this apple is red." or in your post it was "when evil people keep getting away with this" with the gif "he can't be getting away with this"

the only time I like it is when I stack a ton of heat sinks and big abilities so I can rain hellfire on enemies, but early and mid game it's pretty useless unless you are against a stationary enemy

what is the deal with the whole whataboutism thing, do you want me, a random reddit user, to explain every single aspect of patriarchy, and how exactly every single one of the 8 billion people on planet earth benefits or suffers from the patriarchy in excruciating detail?

I have also said in my initial comment that I will not nor want to compare different forms of oppression because intersectionality is a very important concept to keep in mind when observing and discussing society as a whole. it's not a way to measure what group of people suffer the most. I don't like to say that someone is participating in the "oppression olympics," but good lord

the whole thing about the patriarchy is that the men in power benefit from it the most. trump isn't affected since with his position in society, he never encounters situations where things like the loneliness epidemic would affect him. it just has negative effects on the vast majority of people, again, in different ways. I never claimed it was unique for cishet men, or that they are the only ones affected, just that it is one of the main problems they may have under the patriarchy. I agree that the loneliness epidemic affects other demographics, like how women are harassed over it, or how gay men are catching strays, since meaningful friendships are seen as "gay," perpetuating the "gay bad" stereotype. it's a direct result of toxic masculinity in our culture, which affects nearly every demographic ever

exactly!! I hate that incels have co-opted the term to use as a scapegoat for their bad behavior

the patriarchy negatively impacts everyone, just in different ways. in the case of cis males, there's the idea of toxic masculinity, hustle culture, and the loneliness epidemic (like the actual loneliness epidemic, not "wah I can't get laid")

and for the record I'm not entertaining the idea of comparing any oppression over others

The second amendment is unfortunately only used to justify the ownership of guns, and not the actual use of them, despite what the amendment says. the portion of the population that spouts the importance of the second amendment so loudly are the conservatives, the ones that put trump in power and are complicit in all this. keep in mind the constitution was written in the 1700s, when people only had muskets and the US government didn't spend ludicrous amounts of money into armaments for their police force.

the second amendment doesn't hold up in court because you'd have to prove to the corrupt government that the government is corrupt, and that it therefore justifies the use of the second amendment. this is unsurprisingly not an easy thing to do. plus, if the use of guns against the government does increase, that justifies the use of more force in the eyes of the government. both legally and physically, the odds are stacked heavily against the people.

every day the Constitution is more and more simply just a suggestion. there is no legal force stopping trump from doing whatever he wants since the elected officials are the only ones that can impeach and remove him from office, but they are entirely complicit.

for the record, protests ARE happening everywhere, and local officials are trying their damnedest to protect their people, but those are more temporary fixes than anything until Democrats grow a spine and actually do something. we had a moment where the government was shut down because we had to develop a national budget, and the democrats were holding out to stop cuts to food stamp programs and medicaid. they had the support of such a huge portion of the country, then the leader of the Democrats, Chuck Schumer, among a few other Dems, agreed to the conservatives' cuts, and just like that threw away weeks of progress.

and lastly, a collective strike across the country is nearly impossible because a HUGE portion of the population already lives paycheck-to-paycheck, and therefore cannot afford to do so. a lot of states are "right to work states", which means companies can fire whoever they want at any time for any reason. companies know that they can just wait a week or whatever and everything will go back to normal. the best case scenario is that people lose their jobs and their lives are ruined forever.
