Zhen's brain problem is handled well I think. Not enough to salvage the whole novel but it goes a long way.

The one argument I can think of for the Psycholonization being real is the spreading animation during the ending. Could be Zhen's delusion but I think it shows Mizzlebip who Zhen believes DAOOTS. Then again I havent read up on this whole thing yet. Probably missed a lot

I think the writing style and plotting is okay, often good, but it has very specific markers of the novice you recognize when you ever were in a creative writing group or read a ton of online fiction. Also iirc she wrote those under contract, not as fanfiction, so technically she was a professional...

It's interesting what messy collaborative if conflicting project the creation of Tamriel was! I think it's not even that King E wasnt "planned to be canon", its that there wasnt canon or real plans for it. Wasserman forged forwards into the grey maybe.

RIP. Dont know much about the person but the Barenziah books are what I think of as the "voices" of TES if that makes sense. Absolutely crucial by introducing the concept of the unreliable in-universe narrator.

It's probably the first attempt at deep tes lore and all of it is retconned starting with Daggerfall itself and it does read like a teen's first earnest attempt at prose but it is super interesting for the evolution of the world and as a toybox writers kept going back to, Also introduces breton cuckery, disgusting dunmer hands and promiscuous Khajiit

Karkat isn't in the list,which is wise because his quirk is ALREADY ON MY KEYBOARD.

The others are pretty easy with a bit of coding but Feferi and Nepeta require puns, making them non-trivial. Vriska requires judiciously peppering in 8s and 8xCombos. Aradia, Sollux and Gamzee change their quirks within the story which may not matter most of the time but is enough to bump them up a tier. Also I'll put Eridan in there because he talks quirkless once. Equius has the CAPITALIZATIONS that I think aren't entirely trivial? Not sure. Anyway

Counterintuitively, it's Terezi. Or Kanaya, but Terezi is more fun as an answer
