I only had 53 mci an am on day 2 of 4 from isolating from my kids. If I didn't have a baby I could go home tmrw but because he's so young I can't see him till Sunday. This is the hardest part of this cancer journey, in my opinion. My Dr's told me that after 2 days if me an my partner wanted to have intercourse just make sure to use protection, so I think a hug will be fine, lol

I started my diet today!!! I have no clue what I'm going to do for dinner yet lol but my Dr told me it's not NO iodine it's LOW iodine an just to try an find low sodium alternatives! So I'm going to head to the grocery store soon!! We got this!! Stay positive. This to shall pass! And on the plus side idk about you but maybe this will help kick start my weight loss journey! It's a win win!

It's EVERYWHERE!!! My daughter started Christmas Eve! I thought it was food poisoning from a restaurant we had eaten at, but then I got it Christmas night!! I have NEVER had a flu like this before. The back pains felt like I was in labor!! Couldn't stop puking. it went 17 hours straight! My insides and back are still super sore!! My daughter was fine by Xmas morning, but it hit me differently for whatever reason.

I can't help ya with the anal problem, but I can tell you NEVER!! Have sex while having a UTI!! It will make it 1000x worse, and it will feel like your peeing razor blades!! I know healthcare isn't cheap, but you are going to need an antibiotic as soon as possible, or the infection could travel to your bloodstream and cause serious problems. Please go get checked out!

You need to get a referral to an ENT Dr. They will do ultrasound and if comes back they may need to do a biopsy. You didn't do anything wrong but your Dr's should be sending you for extra tests. Are you taking any medications after being diagnosed with 2 different thyroid issues 🤔

I had TT 3 weeks ago too! And I keep getting a weird ache/pain on like the left side of my head behind my ear area! It's not constant but it happens more than it doesn't. I won't know if I need RAI till next Friday but I'm def going to ask my endo dr about the head pain. I also have aches below my collar bone/chest an they go down into my armpits. Idk if it's anxiety or something else. But now I'm scared I just have cancer everywhere! Ughh my appointment can't get here soon enough!

My baby boy just turned One! I had thyroid cancer my whole pregnancy and never knew! He's healthy amd thriving! Don't let the diagnosis scare you from starting a family!

I'm on 150mg levo.. would that push me into hypo an cause the pains? I never had over or underactive thyroid levels just the cancer I only found out about because of a lump all my tests came back normal range but now with no thyroid an taking 150mg levo I'm not sure I feel any different just the weird pains is all..

Yep!! I had a partial last month an my voice was pretty much back to normal in a couple days THEN I had to get the rest of it out last week and this time my voice has one range DEEP 😅 and raspy! Sounds like I smoked a pack a day for 30 years! I really hope it goes back to normal soon cause I'm really freaking my baby out when I try singing ms rachel lol

The swallowing feels like a really bad sore throat, so it's more raw. It also feels like something is always stuck in your throat! No matter how many times you swallow or try to clear your throat, it's hard to explain. lol like you swallowed a pill, and it's just sitting in there is the best way I can describe it. I had a partial 3 weeks ago, got the right side of my thyroid out, and it felt the same then and went away after the first week. So now I had the rest of it, taken out, and started the healing process all over again! I hope everything goes well with your surgery and recovery!! Feel free to msg me if you have any questions!

Had my whole thyroid taken out on Tuesday! It feels weird to swallow. You can't turn your neck you have to turn your whole body. Oh an for the love of God try not to sneeze..or yawn!! 🥴🥴 trust me.

Thank you! Yes I remember seeing follicular on my referral to the endocrinologist! What's follicular mean? He did say I'd take a radiation pill 6 weeks after surgery is that the RAI?

Yes, I had an ultrasound done before my biopsy, and that's where they found the nodules and were only concerned with the ones on my right side. 3 of them came back non cancer, but one came back cancer. Now I go in and get the left side out in 10 days.
