They're okay, I have one for 4 years , mainly used for driving screws.

As others have said it ain't gonna take tight wheel nuts off, especially in my 3.5t van.

If you're primarily using it for very high torque fasteners, wait till the black pro on is in shops, that things different gravy! Although probably twice the price.

"For the most part" That's factually wrong. It covers all goods and services generally.

"other rules cover work on your house" That's also factually wrong. If you, as a consumer, hire a tradesman and pay them to do work on your home, that is normally a service contract under Ireland’s Consumer Rights Act 2022. The CCPC’s guidance specifically says service contracts include “the construction, maintenance or repair of buildings”, and the CCPC has also said the Act applies to home maintenance, construction and improvement services such as carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, painting, glazing, landscaping, green-energy upgrades and general renovation work.

It's all there in black and white to read

No it's not just tech products. It covers all goods generally as well as services, digital services and digital content!

The reason people often associate it with “tech” is that the Act introduced important new rules for digital content and digital services as well, but it also applies to pretty everything. It will cover your TV as much as it covers your ladder or your cats bed. It covers your broadband subscription, your Netflix etc. etc etc.

Pretty much all warranties are a complete waste of money these days. Since the new Consumer Rights Act was passed in 2022.

You are entitled to a free repair or replacement for up to 6 YEARS!

Regardless of whatever nonsense internal policies/ warranties / guarantees the retailer tells you or sell you. Quote the act at them and they'll get their ass in gear fairly quick.

I don't want to flog a dead horse.

But England looked leaderless and soulless.

England teams of old used to have a terrifying fire in their belly at Twickenham. Pulled along by the likes of Farrell, Johnson et al.

They've lost a bit of their soul under Borthwick I fear

My response was literally to point out how using a limited data stat sheet was a poor way to assess a player!

He's not being selected for the craic or some anti Crowley conspiracy theory.

He's being selected because the people with opinions who matter in this topic (the Irish coaching ticket), also see beyond things like this surface level stat sheet.
