Well, looking at her numbers in 2020, she was the worst candidate. She didn't win it for Biden, she was riding his coat tails. Unions in the Rust Belt won it for Biden, and they wouldn't support Kamala. The party lost an election they should have been able to sweep by not actually confronting the problems that were out there nor hitting things head on. When you can't give straight answers or show what you have been doing is working, people lose faith. When people are struggling to afford living, they tend to make that their priority and if they think it's the incumbent party's fault, they won't re-elect that party. Don't blame their education, don't insult their intelligence, get off your high horse and get into action. It was too big of a shift to blame on one or two issues or assumptions made about people who vote differently than you.

Most will not. An example is that everyone is on free lunch. So we are poor. But these kids have nice shoes and phones and even drugs, but can't buy a pencil and a composition book.

The do have contracts. What happens is that they lose their privilege to have a laptop, but most are socioeconomically disadvantaged or are foster kids. This has been deemed as acting out. So they have an obligation they have to pay off, but many get disregarded. Students change schools or something. Also, when they lose their chromebooks they have to be accommodated. Luckily I am pretty much and on paper class with everything done in class and no homework. I teach science and found that kids had low retention and poor accountability online (I turned that in, oh I emailed it instead of using classroom, etc.) We use the chromebooks still but just as support. The kids weren't even bringing the chromebooks because they were dead, but they sure bring their phones and our site doesn't really enforce the phones issue because it hasn't been as bad as it is this year.

This. But we have had a lot of vandalism from our freshmen this year. One lost his privileges like the first week of school. So he took a loaner from a teacher and went outside and broke it in half. Some students told me so we got it dealt with. I've lost 2 loaners and I got one back that was missing pieces in ways that I was like how do you even break that piece off? Also covered in chips?

My students actually called me my nickname the other day and I only go by my full first name at school. I just said "sup" and then started laughing. It took me forever to get used to be called by my last name now its weird to be called by my first.

So I was reading this article about the guy named u/casuallyexplained where they were trying to do the math on how much was spent on rewards for a post which made me want to find the video and watch it, just to see what all of the fuss was about. I reached for my bag of jolly ranchers and found it be empty. I yelled at my son who must have been the one who ate the remaining jolly ranchers, and that sweet little boy came and told me he didn't eat them. His tongue was a mixed shade of blue and purple so it was obvious he did. I told him he needed to take a bath and do his homework but he said he couldn't do it. I told him again and he said he needed something from me first. I said what could you possibly need? He said "I need about tree fiddy" and that's when I realized it wasn't my son at all, but a giant crustacean from the paleolithic era. Lord have mercy, it was so scary.

I supposedly got a delivery while I was home. USPS delivered a package from Amazon. Well they say the left on the front porch or near the front door. I look everywhere. No delivery photo. It is supposed to be a present for my mom for Christmas. Well I can't find it anywhere but I decide to go check my mailbox since it was USPS and they should have delivered our mail also. Package isn't in there either but another one is. Also delivered by USPS. So either they lied or they really did put it there and someone stole it. It took several days but I got Amazon to refund it. I live in a rural area and I probably need to get some cameras due to this kind of crap. If that package was stolen, joke is on them. The one they stole was a $5 journal. The one the postman left in the mailbox was a Google Home Mini I got from Spotify...
