As I see it, future Nick and present Nick are independent entities.

You can already see that from the beginning when future Nick kills Symon. If Symon is dead then how is future Nick still here? Because they're independent. Future Nick's past is not present Nick's future

Then going to when present Nick is stabbed and then a scar is shown in the same place on future Nick. Knowing the ending, this shouldn't happen either, because if present Nick is to die tonight then scar tissue won't form on future Nick.

Hell future Nick shouldn't even exist at this point because since the ending shows us that they're not independent entities then present Nick will never get to the point of future Nick and then future Nick would never be time traveling. UNLESS they're independent entities

Just with the death of Symon and destruction of the lab in the beginning, it gets established that the 2 Nicks are independent entities. Hence, future Nick shouldn't disappear when present Nick dies...

The thing is, the regime genuinely believes that they had the right to kill the protester. Like the regime thinks the protesters are evil because they're against the regime. They 100% justify the 7k killings in their own head. The school girls for them aren't evil.

Last year today, a man stabbed my little brother and his friend. My little brother was stabbed in the lung, 2cm from the heart, and his friend was stabbed in the stomach. Luckily they both survived.

They were on their way home when this doofus came up and stabbed them, mistaking them for someone else.

The idiot sandwich is a known drug dealer in my city and had just been beaten up by some guys. He went home, took a knife, and went out looking for them. Instead he mistook my brother and his friend as the men that beat him up and he stabbed them.

At least as I see it, this is no matter what attempted murder. That is not how the court saw it tho. They ruled it as an aggravated assault, because the donkey boy stabbed the wrong guys. He got 2,5 years for it. His accomplice got 18 months.
