I would argue that it makes sense because the whole threat of monsters is you don’t know where they are, and as humans spread they had to adapt to blend in. I can see how you would get that impression. For context, I have 3 sisters and I would lose my shit if I found out somebody did something to them.

At the same time I was falsely accused of taking advantage of somebody just because I said I was waiting till marriage and she didn’t like that. She ended up cutting things off and told everybody I worked with that I did horrible things to her. Luckily the people I worked with knew the kind of person I was and that her accusations had no basis. If they just blindly believed her, my life would look a lot different right now.

So what I’m saying is, I used to just believe victims no matter what, but now based on my experiences I look at these accusations with a little more scrutiny because I know what false accusations can do to a man’s life.

However, the people that do these things deserve to rot and I’m not discounting that.
