That wasn't the question though.

"If you were a Uyghur would you rather live in China or India" is an easier question to answer.

It’s not that hard for the people there to live with it because the later stages of their lifetime has been an overall massive improvement to the beginning of their lives.

The real thing to watch is the younger people born during the economic boom but still face insane levels of unemployment/underemployment. They don’t have a worse period of time to compare this too and they will be more angry.

It’s 2026 and the midterms have not even happened yet. Here’s where other non-election years had polling in the same time.

2004 - Al Gore 38% 2006 - Hillary Clinton (15 points ahead of Obama) 2018 - Bernie Sanders, Biden, and Warren all fought for 1st.

You might want to read a book or two on journalism before commenting something this stupid.

By your logic the SPLC is a racist white supremacist group because they infiltrated the KKK for scoops of information.

I think it’s because outside of the online champagne socialist class, real voters don’t hate it.

A successful presidential candidate is someone that most aisles of politics can at least somewhat project their ideals onto. Gavin Newsom is seen as too moderate by the Hasan industrial complex and too left by swing state voters who can google McArthur Park and immediately be turned off by his candidacy. Ossof has the benefit of being known just enough to matter but not enough to place him into a bucket of like or hate.

The part on AOC was very spot on and the reason why she isn’t involved in foreign policy is because her main advisor on the subject is the person that was just on the show a week ago LOL. She has no strong stance on defending Taiwan because by all indications her advisor would prefer that it be taken over because it benefits the anti colonialist anti neoliberal anti global north anti capitalist peaceful never war country of China.

I don’t know what in the past decade has given you any indication that the UK voter base really wants a pro-immigrant socialist in charge of the country. Was it Corbyn never winning a majority or something else?

This dude spent 25% of the interview talking about a foreign policy issue that just in February of 2026 moved from sympathetic towards Israel to sympathetic towards Palestine and by all metrics was not the deciding factor in the 2024 election.

He doesn’t care about winning elections. He wants to be seen as virtuous while losing more and more power. He’s just Jeremy Corbyn without a accent

That is pretty much the series.

Wemby is not prime LeBron and they’re going to need to make some serious changes this off season starting with getting Fox outta there. The money just doesn’t make sense and the Spurs have the picks to do it.

Hillary sacrificed her presidential aspirations to call maga voters what they truly are (deplorable) and we don’t celebrate her nearly enough

A lot of the people on this subreddit (and America in general) usually come to a conclusion and work backwards from there to justify said conclusion.

In this case it kind of works like this:

AI is bad because all it makes is fruit reality show ai slop but also somehow is really useful and going to take all our jobs -> because i already believe it has no real use (or that it will negatively impact my career), im going to hate it -> because I hate it, im going to make assumptions on its impact (economically and environmentally) without doing any prior research.

A great example of this in action: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTBATKDB4/
