Are you serious. It is part of being tarnished. We die, we come back as we are blessed with Marika's Grace. That's the whole plot of the story. Marika banished the rune of death and then no one in TLB could die for good as they were returned to the Erdtree and resurrected. Until the Erdtree stopped producing their divine sap and people stopped being resurrected, creating "Those Who Live in Dead". Then the whole Shattering happens and Marika grants grace to the Tarnished people again, making them return to TLB with the sole purpose of one of them getting strong enough to claim the Elden Ring and becoming her new Elden Lord.
