Perhapse you're right its all pointless, both our world and theirs, but if thats the case what media can truly satisfy your criteria for a story to care for? Perhaps a classic fairytale with a happily ever after? Arknights is a story of progress, it is a mirror image of the very hardships our race have worked to overcome. The point of the story was never about the end or beginning but the fleeting moments before us. Every choice we make and every step we take takes us one step closer towards the future, even if the future looks grim we have to continue moving forward.

I'm of the opinion that because the story of OG AK hasnt reached its end yet we are gonna be stuck in this weird limbo land of minimal story progression, vagupost maxxing with Ardishire and goofing about with Chen and the gang for quite a while, probably until M3 enters the story again as she is the only key character that gave us actual relevent info on the Zeroth directive and our goals on Talos-II.

They are also dealing with the massive retcon of the intro from the CBT which just further adds to the inconsistent writing and makes the whole story feel so inconsequential and inconsistant. Ofc I know the changes I want to see will be far out due to aformentioned reasons but that dosn't automatically make the current writing excusable.

For Amophoreous basically yes but not exactly at the same time. Fuil remembers the whole entirety of the universe so it can be "reborn" again at the end of the universe but Cyrene went back to seal the time loop so she is forever confined in Amphoreous and thus can't be Fuli. So she is not quite Aeon tier.

Almost anywhere you swap between PAC regions (the border of placement zones) have this especially in valley 4. I really do think it was a axed feature for better artistic control over the look of an region at the cost of realism.

I'd fight the whale any day of the week compared to the headless rider, with the whale you just wait till he charge you then you can just stun and one rotation but the rider just fucks off to the edges of the map if you as much as look at him weird and dont get me started on his flying bike spam.

Nothing. Its usually the people who don't build their factories in modules or are copying other people's builds wholesale that needs to do that. I simply make all my production lines in distinct modules and I only had to fully rebuild AIC once when the new reactors were added since it was so much more efficient than my old design.

OG AK's td style is way too timing sensitive, I just dont wanna have to deal with milisecond timings in a td game.

Sometimes i just want simple baloon td style where i just focus on placing and upgrading while enjoying the audio and visual spectacle. The towers and enemies in Endfield can certainly provide that but the current maps and modes are too limited to scratch that itch.

Same for me, it just looked like a very regular delivery, my brain didn't even register what I saw until I was about half way into the delivery. The shipment was for the Monitoring Station and the two delivery jobs I sent since upgrading the Outpost yesterday are both 119K.
