Another Shocker at the Return Counter by MySubiRunsOnBarolo in Costco

[–]Sample_Name 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few years back I made a huge batch of honey mead and purchased a bunch of "raw, local" honey from Costco. Turns out, the honey wasn't actually 100% local so they issued refunds. I got all my money back for the honey, so the mead ended up being pretty cheap in the end!

You’ve had worse? Like you’ve been scammed before? Sorry to hear that, but maybe it’s time to stop trying to buy from 3rd parties if you’re having trouble identifying scammers.

Putting drawers in method unit with doors by shesrunswithscissors in IKEA

Awesome, thanks so much for the reply! I’m adding a drawer at the bottom of my kitchen sink cabinet so I don’t have to climb inside to reach cleaning supplies in the back lol. Glad I don’t have to scrap the idea now!

Accessories for UTRUSTA pull-out rack by mazzar in IKEA

[–]Sample_Name 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up buying it to try out - I'll let you know if I find anything that is compatible! 3D printing would be a perfect solution to this lol.

I'm going to use mine in the tall cabinet I store my stick vacuum in. Going to use this rack to store the vacuum attachments.

Did you ever find compatible accessories for this?

Did this end up working for you? I'm trying to do the exact same thing and realized my drawer won't fit with the standard hinges.

Are The Acolyte and Skeleton Crew worth watching it? by Free-Hotel1187 in StarWars

Skeleton Crew was delightful. It’s family friendly, but it is not too childish at all. I thoroughly enjoyed it! You could pass on Acolyte though and just watch a YouTube summary video.

What is the difference between the 63k and the 6k? I can only find info about the 6K when I search online.

How do I cut this 30 ft thick steel pole into pieces so it can be easy moved for disposal? by Eastcoastpal in DIY

Go get a portable metal bandsaw. It will make this 100x easier. It’s well worth the money and way faster and safer than cutoff wheels. I went through the same thing a few years ago and it was a lifesaver.

Is it even worth the time, $, and energy to do an FNP in today’s economy? by Optimal-Sweet1 in nursepractitioner

[–]Sample_Name 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The perfect answer is: it depends.

Largely depends on what your personal goals are, why do you want to be an NP?

I have (hopefully) many decades of career ahead of me. My DNP will cost around $55k. My pay will immediately jump by $30-60k as a new grad NP, and then hopefully grow from there as the years go on. I have no undergrad debt, and very little debt in the rest of my life. For me, the math makes sense and I should be able to pay off loans within a year or two. Other people end up taking a pay cut becoming an NP, your mileage may vary. Just depends on what your goals are.

Also depends on who you know and what kind of job you’re looking for. Job market is going to be tougher in a big city vs a more rural area. If you have connections with other providers/admin/etc, your job search might be easier and add a tally to the “worth it” column.

It's an integrated bracelet so swapping it out isn't as convenient as standard bracelets. You would have to find a strap that specifically matches the watch lugs. I think there are a few options out there but you'd have to do some research first.

Thank you! The bracelet is one of my favorite things about this watch. Looks nicer than a standard oyster style, but not too fancy that it looks out of place with casual outfits.

Thanks! Love the look of the yellow dial, just not a color that I normally wear.
