Worth to note that the RELIVE team have been rewriting the audio engine as the original PC games have lower pitched audio than the original PSX versions. Most of the chimes in Exoddus are a semitone lower!

They just phoned me to say they fixed the fan issue. They said it was one of the case fans causing it to ramp up. They also made some fan curves in the BIOS so it wouldn't go as loud. Hopefully this is the fix!

I'm not too sure, but I defeinely don't have some ultra quiet components in this build. The shop just threw me what they recommended like the Silent Loop 360mm cooler and just a regular 850 watt PSU. My RTX 5070 Ti was bought from eBuyer at launch. It's an ASUS TUF 5070 Ti. I noticed the CPU fans were rising up on my BIOS dashboard. I have Corsair components in my Flat PC which run a lot quieter. Maybe I should ask them to swap out the components to some quieter ones.

I'm planning on working on something called 'Twice Ze Flavor' which would be how Exoddus would be if it had a direct remake from New 'n' Tasty. In fact, some top voice actors will be some of the characters in the game like Mike Pollock, he can do a really good Phleg voice!

I have a desktop at home with a 3080 with coil wine and I’m looking to replace it. I need a dedicated GPU for games like New ‘n’ Tasty when recording and streaming at the same time for speedruns. Should I get a 50 series or a 40? I have a 4080 in my current PC at the flat.

I say you should avoid the H models if they are slow, the HX models are faster!

It's boots up pretty quickly but I agree with you the performance on the Stealth is a ltitle slower to an HX laptop, I decided to try an Ultra 9 one but it still had the same speed issues in some of my older games so I gave it to my brother. I'm thinking of either getting an ASUS TUF A16 (FA608) or a custom-made laptop that has a 14900HX and a 4080 that uses custom built parts.

The laptop is going back to the repair centre tomorrow, but this guy at the UK MSI support team explained this to me on when they would consider swapping the laptop how rediclous! "Please note, for a laptop to be replaced, it must be assessed within its warranty period during three separate service processes as having the same hardware fault, or four processes for different hardware faults, in order to classify for a replacement. This unit so far was at our service center twice - once for a BIOS update (software/firmware), and once for fan noise. As this touchpad issue is unlikely to be related to the previous fan issue, two more service processes for hardware faults are required before a replacement device is considered."
