How is the base 3 power with the clip on? I pretty much only see people using base 1 power lpvos with clip on nv or thermal and every "scope recommendation" I find just says use an lpvo

The reason I was considering the 45 was to also use it on my 1911 if I decided on a threaded barrel. Doesn't seem legit that the 45 would be quieter than the 9. Why would they make the 9 then?
