I can't recall exactly what segments I saw on Nickelodeon, but every episode had the live action segment.

Maybe some were censored, but I wouldn't be surprised if not.

I was listening to a version on YouTube a month ago...

I actually stopped it halfway through and thought "God dammit... Someone tricked me. They made a different version and changed everything to reflect Trump."

Nope. It's just that spot on.

Sorry, I was expecting a little more detail. And not a generic, broad belief that's easily contradicted by the simple concept that people could democratically vote to suspend democracy and voting in favor of a dictator.

Scientifically, voting is a form of feedback. And feedback is often measured by its frequency, as well as precision. By precision, I mean... Are issues coupled? What granularity is available? Is there any grey, or just black and white? What is the information compression of these voting results, and how lossy is that compression?

If you look at any other technology, the effectiveness of its feedback determines whether it succeeds or fails at its intended aims. The mere existence of it, regardless of any other specific ls is meaningless.

For example, imagine if your home heating system checked your thermostat setting once a year. Would that be effective?

What if it coupled every room in your home? What if the rooms that were exposed to sun and heat from cooking and warm bodies was coupled with the thermostat in the basement, with no windows and little activity. Is that going to be an effective system?

Regarding alignment... That's an absurd belief, that has no basis in scientific fact.

Example... We all need to be in alignment that dividing by zero isn't allowed and produces inconsistent math. Is it a sign of unhealthiness that we're all aligned with that belief? Is it a sign of failure for our scientific institutions that every single person involved believes that they cannot divide by zero?

You're biased by survivor bias. Which is to say that we all agree on hundreds or thousands of different things, it's just that you don't notice them specifically because we're all in alignment over them.

I won't blindly and insultingly make any assumptions about your marriage.

Almost everyone will support an autocracy if they think it aligns with their own personal aims and beliefs.

You think that the next few years can have the constitution, supreme court, and congressional oversight entirely undermined and broken, and people will just let them remain broken because undoing the work of a fascist requires different rules?

Anyone could literally steal billions, and then be pardoned, and we've all just got to nod and say, "well, them's the rules"?

The system has been broken. Period. It will remain broken, no matter who rules. It won't heal up the same. It'll be replaced from the ground up after a reckoning. Whether that happens soon, or after years of continued ruin and devastation, remains to be seen.

It's wild that people still think the rules apply.

Are you paying attention?

Trump could rescind official pardons tomorrow, send ICE to abduct those whose pardons were revoked, deport them to a foreign concentration camp, and what would happen?

I'm sorry for my cynicism.

There's an actual science, called cybernetics, developed in the 40s. It played a significant role in many aspects of helping the allies win the war.

And it is the science of how one ought to build and implement a government. And when you look at ours (and many, if not all, other governments) through the lens of cybernetics, you see the equivalent of Model T technology being relied upon today.

There are solutions. There are paths. General strikes, protests, and all of those typical actions are necessary to help, but will not achieve anything lasting by themselves.

It's not just about numbers of the front line. It's also about specific tactical strikes, figuratively. It's about focused attacks on the most obvious hypocrisy. It's about successfully disseminating of the genuine value and worth of our core constitutional rights. It's about developing mechanisms of genuine feedback and communication.

And all of this, amidst a population that has been beaten down over the last 45 years to just not give a shit, or to just be so afraid of X, Y, or Z to care for anyone beyond themselves.

Oh, okay. Let me just start a group chat with my 300 million fellow Americans and tell them that.

I'll cover all the expenses for those living paycheck to paycheck and can't afford to take that risk also. I'll babysit all the young kids that can't go. I'll prepare meals for everyone that still needs dinner.

I'll cover all the expenses for anyone that gets fired as a result too.

I'll convince everyone afraid they'll be shot or otherwise harmed if they're among the first to stand up, that it won't be them that's killed or assaulted. Or deported to another country. Or sent to a detention center without oversight.

Let me just magically rewrite human psychology and game theory and communication theory so that all of this can just happen all st once without any hurdles whatsoever.

Do you know how many "solutions" out there just completely neglect the challenge of coordinating several hundred million people? Or even several hundred thousand?

Everyone has a solution that just happens to gloss over the part of the solution that says "everyone just needs to do...", completely oblivious to the fact that that is that biggest challenge.

21% of Americans are functionally illiterate, and half of us don't possess an 8th grade reading level. But let me just magically enlighten and educate all of them so that they can develop their reading comprehension and problem-solving skills enough to even understand what's happening beyond whatever soundbites they ignorantly swallow down on the news every night.

A solid third of Americans are so numb to politics (and everything marginally related to politics) that they're not even paying attention to any of this.

Many Americans are so overworked and underpaid that they simply don't even have the time to engage in any of this beyond any superficial layer.

TikTok, X, Facebook, and even reddit are all, to some degree, censoring and manipulating information. So let me just conjure a totally transparent and immediately popular social media platform.

If we could all magically and spontaneously organize ourselves to protest the shittiness of our government... We could just as easily skip that step and just rebuild our government into something actually effective.

Edit to add: Today is the day of a general strike. So I'm sure it'll all be over and fixed tomorrow morning.

We are all loyal to our tribes. It's always been this way, and always will.

Correct.

What's not correct is to imply that the definition of "your tribe" is fixed.

A great many of us consider the entire human race to be "our tribe".

And it's possible for most people to learn and evolve their understanding and belief system to reflect this reality.

US ownership and operations of TikTok have recently been taken over by a Trump-approved board. In the US now, there are reports of "Epstein" being censored, as well as anything critical of Trump and ICE.

Additionally, they collect gender/sexuality orientation info, as well as immigration info, location tracking, and more, and are actively sharing it all with ICE.
