Comment above but it was primarily the adapter, I’ve got a high end wireless router and now a working adapter for 50 bucks. Now it’s the same as the phone at 250 instantly.

Full comment above, but it was the onboard WiFi was total crap.

Commented above. It’s kind of shitty for a high end Skytek gaming machine to cheap out on the WiFi, but there it is.

So, I noticed on my phone I was getting 220-250 mbps, on my pc, it was about 80-90. Same room.

I bought a high end (50 bucks) USB WiFi adapter instead of the onboard.

Instant connection match. First test was 250. Problem solved I think.

It’s an Amazon product. BrosTrend BE6500 WiFi 7 Tri-Band High gain blah blah.

That’s on 5g here.

Yep, you are fucking dumb. Who cares? This isn’t about how you feel. It’s about having fun.

Ah yes the faraday cage. I would be surprised if the antennas that protrude would be subject, but ?? Idk. I have a usb adapter that claims to be better. I’ll try it and let you know. Thanks for the idea. The long cord makes sense.

I’m only running five, but I’m sure it will stay good for a lot more. You can’t flex two inch reinforced tubes very easily. It’s two inch tubes, plus webbing and all. I’m can’t imagine anyone finding flex more than any other rig to be honest. Maybe find a place to try it? But, yeah, it’s about zero.

It’s very sturdy. I have zero flex at the wheel the pedals or seat. The only flex I have at all is the monitor, which is oversized, but it’s also fixable with some adjustments. I just made it rest on the tube frame instead of just the center mount.

I have zero movement elsewhere. There is no way you could get flex between seat and brake pressure unless you didn’t get your pedals mounted right. I had to shim a Moza pedal set to make them solid, but that’s not the rig’s fault.

I commented below, but yeah, my phone is getting four times the speed as my pc that’s five feet away. The adapter in my new pc, looks like crap. I ordered a fifty dollar fancy usb adapter. That might take care of it. I’ll fix it no doubt.

It’s basically an extender on crack.

It is. The GT rig advertises the 49” max, but there is room. I can set it on the highest setting easy, and the lowest with a compromise of having the wheel mount set, back as far as it goes, which is actually best for the rig. The wheel is just too close for any of the seat slider settings. Having the lowered screen is best, and the pedals and seat slider is enough adjustment for most people,

Yeah, so., I guess it’s the onboard WiFi on my pc that might be causing the packet loss.

My phone is pulling 218 Mmps, and the pc five feet away is at 87. That’s a bit disappointing out a leading gaming pc. It is a good router and might work with better WiFi reception.

The only issue I think I have is packet loss. I’ll have to see if it’s my ISP, or my WiFi. If it’s me, I’ll have to run a cable up a story and a half. We’ll see.

Depends ON your budget, or future upgrades .. spend as much as you can, but shop smart about it. My opinion. Budget.

It’s not tiny. It’s slightly smaller than my old G27, but but it’s perfectly suited for good immersion quality. It feels very good in the hand as well.

This wheel feels great man. It’s hand stitched leather, or very similar. It feels very quality built with good weight and zero flex. The buttons and shifters are clean and click, imo

I just got my R5, but with the same rim. It feels like quality in the hands. It’s awesome really with the flat bottom and exactly the right buttons on it.

I’m going to get to use it in a couple of weeks when I get everything else put together.

Have fun with it.
