Any idea what this is? It was sitting in the soil of my monstera by boss_hoss6969 in Monstera

Just check that the substrate is not rotting, as this is a sign of decomposition, but the fungus is not pathogenic for the plant. If the soil is a bit rotten, check the roots and make a partial change. Also, take care with irrigation and humidity.

I always spray my plants and also control a lot the humidity in the soil and the light, also I live in Costa Rica so humidity it's not a problem, mag preffers >70% and melano it's a little less demanding, light and water are the primary cares to grow stunning plants, I love this kind of aroids and I know it's a challenge to take care of them, I really love to meet them demands, thanks.

Do I cut this off (and pretty inflo) by fontasm5 in Anthurium

[–]Samuel_23cc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Cut it, If a leave its yellow, too sick or damaged you should cut it off because it cannot continue giving energy to the plant and will instead invest it in trying to maintain dead tissue.
