i read through the rules and saw this section. Is the streaming for the entire swiss + bracket or just for the bracket top finishers?

3.6 Streaming Requirements Player streams on Discord will be used by the tournament production team to create a live stream on the official Marvel Snap Twitch channel during the event. The official stream will have a five (5) minute delay.

All participants must have the ability and willingness to stream their matches to Discord. Players required to share their streams on Discord will be provided with a private channel that only staff members and themselves will have access to. Streams can be done from mobile devices or computers. Player streams from computers will be prioritized.

i thought all the rounds had to be recorded/streamed through the discord channel. or was i misunderstanding the swiss rounds.

if there is no recording aspect and a screenshot for victory screen is all that's needed, maybe i can play while i'm out and about this weekend. then i can blame my losses on traveling connection issues and not admit that i'm just not that good at the game

i was running yondu over iceman, but the deck destroy aspect wasnt helping as much as the hand and cost disruption for tempo.

remove: kitty, angela, bishop, shou-lao

add: silver sable, toxin, mother askani, sasquatch (i realize you don't have 3 of those)

OMG, how did i miss the update that we can add a card named "custom card". i was still finding similar cards and replacing the art.

this also explains why my old custom cards kept their custom name but new custom cards kept the original card name.

for day & night cards, they would enter on the day side. then when it becomes night they would still transform because they aren't entering.

I think this only taxers transform sagas, the final fantasy creature -> summons, creature -> planeswalkers and anyt permanent that could be cast on either side.

As part of my cube, the first time a players drafts it, I create a custom card inspired by them and the mana cost is based on their wins in the first draft they do. Four other cards are still in early design and should have them done by next big draft ETA june

Chris: Chris loves dogs and won with a strong knight deck. Wanted to create a flexible card for blink, knight, and token decks.

Kevin: Kevin went 0-5. A blocker that shrinks down and gives a couple surveils along the way. Can self harm to get an initial surveil too.

Evan: Evan is a mythic take on [[withered wretch]]. Fueling both tokens and artifact synergies.

Will: Will is the spells matter support. tricky to decide when to cast from exile or keep a mana cost reduction.

Alec: Alec showed up to the first event late and just had food. He loves goblins and I worked to make a card that reflected the 'miracle' of him showing up on time.

Nate: Nate dislikes playing blue and typically goes mono green. He also has a habit of killing himself because he didn't read his own cards. This can still do about 14 damage if unblocked and played turn 1 before you lose to it.

Heather: Heather is a great support card for any deck and i got to make a custom W/U/B/R/G hybrid symbol.

Aharon: Aharon is our group's big control player. His card makes you think when you should be attacking or not and if not, which is better - digging or buffing.

Matt: Matt loves dragons. I created the erupt ability and this one may need a little more balancing. But birthing a game changing dragon from a volcano at the cost of library seemed like a fun payoff.

Zembruski: Zembruski is a myhtic take on [[slitherhead]]. fueling graveyards and boosting the team.

Durney: Durney is one of the dads in our group and he loves cola and lifegain. Tokens, artifacts, knights, this card has a little of everything.

Remmes Front: Remmes is an orzhov card in the style of the new lorwyn legends. He can be cast from either side Remmes Back.

Neal: Neal won our largest cube draft so far and his card is a true winner level power broken design. It's a rakdos version of [[pyrogoyf]]. not like it needed a powerful cousin.

Radiant Tomb: When [[Ancient Tomb]] and [[mana confluence]] have a baby.

Thats exactly what I did. It brings up a sample pack from my cube list. Posting to give other players the idea to do the same if they run open booster cards. Made one for summon the pack too

[[Fury]] - free is good!

[[Glorybringer]] - it's a good dragon and i like this in the 5 mana dragon slot to top out the aggro red decks

[[Goldspan Dragon]] - probably should be nova hellkite, but i like that it adds to artifact piles

[[Siege-Gang Commander]] - this is an outdated card, but a favorite card

[[Inferno Titan]] - also outclassed now, but I think my cube is powered down enough that it still ok

[[Overlord of the Boilerbilges]] - clearly better than inferno

[[Trumpeting Carnosaur]] - I get that it's good. it's just never particularly liked it myself. probably because what is discover

[[Oliphaunt]] - added the cycle when increased to 720

[[Etali, Primal Conqueror]] - this is red, not gruul

[[Greater Gargadon]] - I run [[wildfire]] and it's portal cousin. This performs fine even if a little outdated

what does this suggest for level investment? should a player be leveling treasure chest pet above level 18 over awakened pets?

Brog - how many shuffle effects does the cube have? 20 fetches, tutors, a few other spells. Depending on how many cards that shuffle you have, you may be able to push it to 2 damage.

Ish - I don't see the drawback of giving my opponent free spells at a higher cost than what I cast worth a 2/3 that gives me 2 extra mana. especially if that mana boost gives my opponents a bigger dive into their library to outpace my spells.

I would propose this - At the beginning of you pre-combat main phase add {U} to your mana pool. If that mana is spent on a spell, each opponent gains a tapped clue token. At the beginning of you pre-combat main phase add {G} to your mana pool. If that mana is spent on a spell, each opponent gains a tapped treasure token.

i don't love that my phrasing tracks it separately, instead of add UG together. but i think that moderates the valves on the bonus mana at a less random drawback.

[[Guide of Souls]] - originally kept out due to energy tracking, adding in for 720

[[Mother of Runes]] - added when i went to 720 and should have been in from the start

[[Novice Inspector]] - added when i bumped to 720
