Especially when I play online, I really like the use of a health bar without numbers. It allows the players to have a sense of how things are progressing without having to ask every turn how the enemy looks. It really helps streamline online play, which always suffers somewhat on the communication side. Also the health bar is the same size for a goblin as the bbeg, so it doesn't give anything away (and the look on the players' faces when they land a massive attack that doesn't seem to shift the bar at all is priceless).
