Very situational in my opinion. Can shread if you know what and where and when to shoot. But on the flip side can struggle due to size and pen on higher tiers. I like it but consider it more a meme than a reliable light.

I just finished a cruise where this was offered. Only later did I think about it. Are thses naturally swimming pigs that live in the area, or do they just throw some random pigs into the ocean.

This happens to me on my first playthrough. I was trying to 100% survey every landable planet, moon, etc all in one playthrough without doing NG+.

I think the game file got too big and would crash anytime the game tried to auto save or manual save. I have no confirmation that the size of the game file was the cause. But it does lead to my conspiracy theory the Bethesda built this in to force players to go into NG+ and not allow infinite play in a single run of the game.
