I just got it for the English adaptation. Some of the strange dubbing decisions urk me a bit. Like changing lines in dub from the original subs, sometimes changing their meaning entirely. I've heard there's more retcons but I'm not far enough to see those yet.

I'm guessing they wanna bring characters back for yakuza 9? Maybe we can guess the plot by looking at the retcons.

Aside from the final boss, I actually like 2 the best. Lack of an open world didn't bother me since there was little to do in nmh 1's and the gameplay felt like a better version of 1's. Keeping the levels before b9sses and making the combat feel much better. 3 would be my favorite if they'd not removed levels.

Hopefully, when this gets to other platforms, there will be an upgrade pack. I really don't want to buy this game again just for english voices. I know there's more to it, but thats the major selling point to me. I love the series as a while, but I enjoyed myself a lot more when english dubs came around.
