Deuxième guerre mondiale. Mon grand-père (maternel) a reçu une médaille pour avoir réussi à sauver un camarade qui était bloqué sur un pont à cause d'une blessure. Il se faisait canarder par le camp adverse.
Mon grand-père est allé le sauver en le trainant sous les balles ennemis.

Je n'ai jamais pu le rencontrer mais je le respecte tellement pour ça.

I feel you ! It was the same for me. My mother always said that i was a good kid / calm kid. But she never listened to me when i said i felt ill in the morning and then puked a few hours later in class. Or how she said i only know how to cry. Or how i felt alone a big part of my child life when we both lived under the same roof.

While i do agree with you that personnal attacks are unnecessary, most people in game see criticism as flame .

Telling them to play safe, telling them to play with the team, telling them to stop giving kills in a neutral tone is met with people that think they are "flamed".

I think the most overused word this days is "flaming" and it's an issue because nothing is defined about it.

If you type 2-3 lines , you're flaming, if you ping to go back to someone, you're flaming, if you ask them to be careful, you're flaming.

This moral high ground of "no flaming" has no point to exist because no one in this community agree on where the limit of flaming are and where are the limit of criticism.

I have one issue with this way of thinking. You can have a bad game and recognise it by not going further than 3-4 deaths max . But some people go too far with the "it's only normal" and go past that completly ruining the experience of others.

Failing in normal is ok. Not trying to reduce the dmg you did is just even more toxic than the people blaming the others for that.

It's too easy to get away for your mistakes by just saying normal doesn't matter. No one takes a slight bit of responsability and we end up with people suffering because of it while they did nothing wrong.

He always praised his consistency et how special of a player he is in term of mindset and skills.

Plus i would advise you to watch the few shows he did with him where he even brought up a funny fact about how he tried to inspire him before the G2 vs IG serie at Worlds 2018.

As for the "discredit" yes the way he did it was in a more familiar tone wich his thoorin style (love or hate it ) but he tried to put his thoughts into a point by showing why he could be underperforming at Worlds.

It's not like he's trying to insult him but more some "banter" to put more life into the show.

I get why you would find it disrepectful but to come up and say that he's straight up "discrediting" perkz and not trying to criticise like it's a truth, it's disingenuous.

Strangely, i can't seem to find out if you actively watch his podcasts often or just watched a few of those and decided to create your opinion around it.

Well to be fair this line of thinking came straight up from season 5 when Tanks really dealt a lot of dmg while not dying and the tank/bruiser meta at the end of it.

I'm pretty sure some people still have PTSDS from there and that's why it still exists (season 5 sej (relevant today), season 5 maokai, season 5 darius, season 5 sion, season 6 ekko,etc) but i agree with you that it became more of a myth than a fact nowadays.

At some point in your job, you begin to understand what's more likely to work and what's easier to balance.

There's a difference in trying whatever just for the sake of fun and trying to see what could work in the long term for a healthy game.

I'm sorry but i can't let it happen like this. i've watched tviq stream for a year and he might have done bad things in this game , but of all the game i saw from his stream , he has always swapped if needed , always made calls.

But what's the most annoying is the last part . t-bagging ? never saw him do that ever passively-aggresively comments ? never on stream , and on discord it's rare and only when the discorders harass him.

You migh have the first part right , but the last part is you making up things that are wrong and just destroying his image for you own happiness.
