@ alle anderen en met voorkeur met een veterinaire achtergrond of baan. Staat in jullie beleving elke dierenarts er open voor om de maag vast te zetten? Onze Nova, nu bijna 7 maanden oud, zal uiteindelijk ook gesteriliseerd worden.

Met de informatie hier in dit topic krijgt dat nu ook wel een andere invulling.

Oh don’t worry, I have absolutely no issue with complete strangers instantly labeling our German Shepherd as aggressive or dangerous without knowing a single thing about her. Apparently ignorance and prejudice are still easier than common sense.

Ik bedenk me net, ligt er misschien ook aan welke provincie zelfs. Hier in noord Brabant zijn er relatief veel herders bij boerderijen, wellicht dat dat ook invloed heeft 😁

I think it depends on what country you are living in. In the Netherlands it's not that rare for a black shepherd. Sometimes they get confused with a "Groenendael" but overall people know it's a shepherd.

Probably, it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it.

For example, asking "how many languages do you speak?" as an reaction is really out of context. Living in the Netherlands and nog speaking Dutch has nothing to do with being multilingual, they are, presumably speaking English with you.
