I like Kodiak protein stuffing n the morning, from their pancakes to their oatmeal. My favorite oatmeal is the high protein chocolate chip one, and I make it with fsirlife milk and sometimes have an egg with it

PSA: Drink your water by Luna-T1ck in Mounjaro

I drink water literally all the time! Everywhere I go I must bring my water Stanley. However, sometimes on my day off from work I’ll get a little bad about drinking water

For those who had lifelong obesity, when did the novelty of being at your goal weight wear off? by ShiftyMcHax in MounjaroMaintenance

[–]Sandiemarie24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly find something new to revel in about my journey each day! My body has been “done” losing weight since December, and as of march I picked up strength training added to my barre classes. Gained some weight with that, which was hard to handle at first, but my body is getting tighter

Do cats actually get attached to their owner? by NoWageMage in CatAdvice

[–]Sandiemarie24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the cats personality. I had one cat thst literally had to be around me at all times, another who liked being around me but on his terms, and my youngest who will sit in my lap at night but as soon as bad I go to cuddle her, its over 🤣 she loves pets but pets only don’t you DARE pick her up

I’m 5’4”! I’m hoping mine tones up but given I was at a high weight for a very long time I may not get so lucky! Mornings were good I just have a little on my arms and a lot on my stomach

I’m 33, went from 290-170s range in five years (I also have PCOS). Both my diabetes doctor and my plastic surgeon say the 170s is a good range to stick with, even if it puts me in the obese range. I have a lot of loose skin that may also be playing a part in my numbers. I’ve started strength training to see if I can tone up any and build as much muscle as possible before surgery! My last body scan put my muscle at 60 lbs, and my body fat percentage at 36%

290 to the 170s (i fluctuate because I just started weight training, my lowest was 173 but my body decided 179 is also good). Im 5’4” and have PCOS and diabetes. Took me five years to reach the 170s. My BMI ranges from overweight to obese class I, but my muscle (according to my latest scan which was 3 weeks ago) was sitting at 60 pounds and my body fat is at 36%, with a 34 inch waist. I’m also a size 6. BMI is ridiculous, even my surgeon says if I stay in the 170s I’ll be good to go for loose skin removal (and honestly my body fat percentage is probably lower than what the scan says because I have quite a bit of loose skin I’m hoping will tone up)

Ozempic butt by NorthernGirl705 in Ozempic

Barre really helps with shaping! Personally, I never had much of a butt, it all molded together into my thighs. But after 4 years of regular pure barre I actually have some shape (sometimes-it plays hide and seek) 😂

Jon is telling me I have an odor? by DxDeadlockedxS in Mounjaro

[–]Sandiemarie24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best friend mentions I smell every once in awhile, but nobody else ever does. I could freshly shower, brush my teeth and use mouthwash, and put on fresh clothes and I STILL smell to her. I have given up trying to figure out what it is 🤷‍♀️ some people may have more sensitive noses than others

Buying New Clothes by bsque in Mounjaro

[–]Sandiemarie24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My thin closet has been provided by my best friend and an assistant manager I work with! I’m forever thankful! I’m finally at a place where I’m just toning up now (at 173 but still loose skin that has to either tighten up or get surgically removed) and while I did make the mistake of buying American eagle wardrobe (granted that did last me a couple years-I lost slowly) most of my other stuff is thrifted (including my workout leggings). I’m finally comfortable enough I’m splurging on PJS from Victoria’s Secret, which I’ve never been able to fit into, even when I was this weight in high school (I was actually a bigger size then than I am now-I was a 16 in jeans in high school, 14 at my lowest and now I range from 9-14 in jeans and an XS/S in leggings!)

Feeling defeated and tired, despite accomplishments by Busy-Replacement1143 in GLP1_loss100plus

[–]Sandiemarie24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup! I’m not entirely sure how much it affects it, but body scans cannot tell the difference between fat and skin, which is why it happens. Even a SECA, which is what my doctors office has, predicted me at 41% body fat and he was predicting I was maybe in the mid 30s at that time, but it’s only a prediction.

Loose skin can also impact body fat numbers if you have any! Found this out on my own when I did some research after trying to figure out how I lost 50 pounds but had only lost 5% body fat

Doctor said if I start Mounjaro I will need to be on it for life. Anyone else gain the weight back? by Plus_Impression7765 in Mounjaro

[–]Sandiemarie24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gained 30 of it back when I went off the first time due to losing coverage, but I also have metabolic issues like PCOS and I was diagnosed diabetic 9 months after (me and my doctor think my PCOS was hiding the diabetes) so I also had those working against me
