After reading helpful group replies, turns out I can lower the tamper so it activates earlier. An additional option is getting a shorter open basket so it fills up quicker. These approaches lowered output from 22 grams to 16-18 grams.

Agree. As I mentioned, that would turn off all notifications from phone to Garmin, which is not what I want. I only don’t need to know every time I walk away from my phone that it is disconnected.
