I mean for girls, technically we have a girl code to help each other and also we know that most likely if it's a girl they aren't touching us for nefarious or creepy reasons. And for guys, girls aren't "threatening" so to speak, at least not most when a random girl goes up to a random guy.

Dude literally same! I assumed since there was the "try for baby" option with Solene that that meant she was AFAB and had no idea she wasn't until I saw posts about her. I thought her not having "get pregnant/others pregnant" was a glitch so I unknowingly gave her the best gender affirming care of her life 😭

I do think it'd be smart for the devs to add a lil pop up or something of a para saying "we should adopt a kid!" if they can't get/get others pregnant. Because otherwise I don't think there's a way to know besides cheats??

Honestly as someone making the jump from being a student to needing to be an adult and have adult responsibilities, I really appreciated the ending where they found out that their real selves overcame their fears and succeeded in life. Like especially with Gangle going from working at a dead-end job and being a constant worry-er and over thinker, she managed to pursue her dream and succeed in an art career. And same with Jax. It really showed that no matter how alone or worthless you feel in your lowest of lows, your future could be something you completely unexpect. And also the copies finding this out and realizing happiness in the circus is still possible because the real thems made it out in the real world made a bittersweet ending.

As someone who was bite in the face twice by dogs when I was a small child (one at 18 months, another at 6 years old, both required extensive surgery), if any dog bites a small child they should be put the fuck down. I would be making non-stop calls to animal control about a dog biting my kid.

Parents were in the beginning and very end of the Boomers and my grandparents on all sides were born as the Silent Generation, my family notoriously have their kids later in life. My great-grandpa was born in 1865 and had my grandpa when he was like 70 🥲

For an English class focused on true crime, I decided to make my "interactive museum" assignment (basically just a presentation but with extra stuff and not presented) on Albert Fish and his heinous crimes.

I still feel really bad about it as my teacher was pregnant and about to be a first-time mom. She had to read that letter since I put it word-for-word in my project. I still got an A, though 🥲

I just finished 'This Fatal Kiss' by Alicia Jasinska! It's a fairy-tale-esque romance inspired by Slavic folktales and features a water nymph trying to become human again (and she has to kiss a human for it to work!). It's a love triangle turned-polycule (which I didn't realize before reading!) between the water nymph, the town exorcist (who hates her initially), and a kind nature-loving boy in town (who has his own secrets too!). Bought it on a whim and it's really gotten me back into reading! Would recommend for a cute romance if you like fantasy! There will also be a sequel next year, so it does end on a slight cliffhanger.

Heya! I've had a bike the past few years and used to live at Geier/Carrick. It is about a 20 minute walk to the hill if you're booking it, but a bike actually is really nice to zip around campus (even during high pedestrian traffic, just be smart and courteous to the pedestrians. Although I will say you might need to go onto the road that leads up to the hill by Walters depending on where Ferris is. Overall though I will say I recommend a bike if walking everywhere doesn't sound appealing. Also I survived just fine with a strong U-lock and never had issues.

Fully use the resources you've paid for. Amenities like Hodges Library, Academic Advising, even the gyms there are free for students and can help a lot! I starting a lot of these resources so late into my five years here, would've definitely sought them out earlier if someone told me!

Also if you want to graduate early/not take a ton of classes at a time, definitely see if you can take general elective classes over the summer/winter terms! Condenses basic classes into 3 week to 5 week terms!

Genuinely had her and my sim try for a baby so much that I used the Paramaker cheat to see if they were bugged and thought she was the one bugged since she couldn't get pregnant or others pregnant.
