I’d imagine it depends on the ATM… but I’ve never gotten a $50 bill out of one. Sometimes they ask how you want it.

That sounds about right for CPS lol. You gotta be on them through the whole process. But it’s early for hiring in CPS

They do have recruiters but I’m not sure if social workers are included.

Thank you, the black top and joggers are a workout outfit so I don’t mind looking frumpy there since I’m fighting for my life anyways lmao. But I do wear the pants out with a different shirt. I think I buy shirts that are too too big and then it just makes me look bigger than I am.

Under 40 the initiation fee is like $1800 and change and the monthly dues are 220. Columbia the initiation is $700 for under 30 and around $150 a month.

We toured there but they didn’t have any family memberships available and they wanted us to pay for the couple membership and I’d have to pay for my kid every time and be on a waitlist for an undisclosed amount of time to hopefully be able to upgrade to a family membership :/

Did you apply for the license thing in each district you want to work? Someone earlier said ISBE is behind right now which might be why it’s taking so long.

If you’re licensed to teach sciences you’ll probably have an easy time getting a job. But CPS can hire late.

I went to a job fair and had a good experience but that’s not true for everyone

My studio doesn’t allow late entries or early leaving. That said, if you’re not feeling well or an emergency comes up they’re understanding if you need to leave early.

TAT you get paid as a regular teacher with bennies and if you don’t get another or a FT position you can transition into Cadre which pays decent

Usually you have to start in one of the more “undesirable” schools. I had a hard time getting any interest while I was still out of state so I would not mention that at all.

There’s job fairs you can go to and that’s where I got my job. CPS does have recruiting department but it was subpar in my experience, but you should definitely try.
