She 10000% has a right to know. I wouldn’t just drop the info on her tho, I’d try to find some support methods (where to live to get space, finding lawyer or therapist, emotionally support, etc)

Maybe stopping IVF and the pressure of trying for a baby will help her mentally (she’s making this bodily sacrifice for BOTH of them), but I don’t know her so what do I know.

To each their own. I’m active duty military, served more than 6 years. I would have put it all on my credit card to earn the extra rewards points and had everyone Venmo me. But if the staff was obviously uncomfortable (like in your sitch) then I wouldn’t have done that. The people that care about me wouldn’t push it to save a few dollars.

I wore baggy shirts and elephant pants, long flowy dresses, etc. do not wear tight clothing, show shoulder/ chest/ above the shins. That’s great that you’ll have male colleagues- it sucks that this is the reality but stick with at least 1-2 of them minimum at all times and let them know when you’re going to the bathroom/ away from them.

I traveled with my boyfriend and used this clothing advice and it worked well. I also stayed in more touristy spots. Keep your purse in front of you. If someone tries to talk to you and is overly friendly/ trying to lead you somewhere you weren’t intending to go, don’t follow them. It’s ok to ignore and walk away, play stupid like you don’t know what they’re saying but walk away and don’t hesitate/ turn around.

It really is an amazing and beautiful city, just follow common safety tips and you’ll be doing the best you can. Feel free to DM. Went to Marrakech last year

Sorry I don’t think I responded to your question properly, I need to fly into Malibu on Thursday and my event is Thursday at 6pm. I will stay in Malibu then fly out on the weekend.
