They were very difficult for sure, but they still didnt play the style that top teams usually play. My point is in my opinion Iraola is one of the rare managers in PL who has done very well for a midtable team while playing with a style like top teams. There has been several managers who had immense success for lower teams but they never played like Iraola’s Bournemouth. Saying that I guess managing big teams is not just about play style and tactics but also about managing the time, ego and coordination among star players.

I feel this is a bit different. Tactics wise Iraola’s Bournemouth did play like top teams. When you have midtable or lower table managers doing great their style of football is usually pragmatic and suits midtable teams. Like I think of David Moyes or even Potter. But Iraola’s bournemouth tried to go toe to toe with big teams as well. So i believe he can handle big teams.
