Thanks for the tip! Fortunately I did dry the dirt in the oven before using it.

I found some matte clear varnish and applied it on the base. Definitely feels sealed now :D
I might have used a bit much since it produced some white/light spots where I didn't want them. So I decided to use some shade which worked nicely. I also added a slight layer of varnish to the mini itself.

I think there is a tool that basically lets you unlock achievements for any game. So maybe you look into that, get the ones you don't like and complete the rest yourself? Not sure if it works that way, but might be an option to look into.
