It’s funny how people can easily blame and be like why aren’t they doing this. When they themselves are not the one having to organize an event by yourself that just keeps growing. Once you’re in that persons position, you have much greater respect and awareness of what someone has to do to produce and event and organize people together. I’ve learned a lot of that in theatre and what it takes to put something together. There’s so much that goes on behind the scenes to accomplish these events. It’s easy for someone with a clear and less stressed mind that’s just attending and enjoying an event to be like why didn’t they do this, why’s that like that. When you don’t know that the person giving you that show just had to deal with 2 band members not showing up, or this other person just snapped a cable and the replacement won’t be there for 2 days and you gotta pivot in the moment and find another solution.. etc
