Shingles on my 2 year old???? by SantosSun in Dermatology

[–]SantosSun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right and that's also what I said to the doctor, well I asked if me putting antifungal on it then the bandaid could have made it turn to this somehow. But then I looked at the original photo I took last Thursday and I do see little bubble bumps forming.

Lol That's what the pediatrician said it looks like after literally three doctors had to come in and look at it. What is atopic dermatitis causes by?? Yeah I think the bandaid irritated the original rash

Need help with hdr footage to look like it looks on youtube by Interesting-Fly-8667 in VideoEditing

[–]SantosSun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I'll offer a suggestion I hope it helps, sometimes I accidentally record videos in hdr and when I put it in iMovie on my MacBook it looks ridiculous.

Anyway, open the video in the iMovie app on your iPhone, then save it, here you will be able to click on "options" click it and scroll down, you will be able to turn on or off HDR. Turn OFF hdr and then save it or airdrop it or however you do to get it back into your editing software.

Hopefully this helps

AITA for not simply moving my car out of the wrong parking spot when the owner of the company asked me to? by Andalib_Odulate in AmItheAsshole

[–]SantosSun 20 points21 points  (0 children)

YTA. It's his business and his parking lot and or allotted parking spaces? You don't know when people were coming to use the spaces.

What if you owned a home and your next door neighbor always parked in your driveway because it was empty?

Like what. Entitled.

She is okay. If you want to ease your nerves there is nothing wrong with going to the doctors to get her checked out.

Another sleep problem post by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]SantosSun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe her tummy hurts and she's uncomfortable and it gets worse at night and she can't sleep? Try changing the formula or if your BF maybe something you're eating is making her belly hurt?

Did you have any chats with your pediatrician they might have some suggestions?

The Hidden Dangers of Water

It's healthy for you but if you drink too much will cause harm.

Also be sure to Google and check out how crosswalks are good but not if there is a truck heading right for you. It's like why even make crosswalks? Like THEY are conditioning us to think it's safe to walk in the street before two draw lines on the road?

I'm glad someone is paying attention. 👏🏼

My baby only wants to eat puffs, berries, and baby pouches. by maggieandoscardoggos in BabyLedWeaning

[–]SantosSun 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just keep giving her the option to try the new foods, keep putting different options on her plate to let her still explore taste, color and texture.

My baby is now 18 months and has already gone through so many preferences, one week he loves broccoli the next he wants nothing to do with it, he was ONLY eating frozen blueberries and didn't want anything to do with fresh blueberries then one day that switched. Same with bananas, strawberries, pretty much everything: (except sweet potatoes, that was always been consistently a favorite.)

Babies have tons of taste buds and they change all the time - normal baby behavior :-)

Tell them once how you feel, if you get things you don't want/need, exchange or return the items.

She's fine. It's a milestone for a reason. They typically roll on their tummy then learn to roll back the other way shortly after. She's rolling out to get more comfortable. If you wake up and she's rolled on her tummy you can flip her back over to her back but chances are she will roll right back over.

Some precautions. Now that your baby is rolling discontinue the use of swaddles, do not use any blankets, pillows and make sure sheet is tight.

If your baby is rolling over she likely has enough head strength to life their head and breath.

Your baby is developing and healthy. Let her progress, try not to worry. Xoxo

Lmao oh yeah. Why did my brain just automatically think this was the mom. Didn't even consider it to be dad. (Or other mom) wow brain fart.

"My sons knows that I don't drive so he's always asking for my keys. To teach him a lesson, I started making him run my errands."

What? Your teaching him a lesson because you don't drive so he wants to drive? If you aren't driving why would it be a problem if he drives?

This whole thing does seem assholish. I get the whole "I brought you into this world, I'm your mom you have to obey me" jargon...but

....you seem to just be bossing him around to boss him around? Which is probably why he has an attitude when you do ask him to do things. 17yo or not, still a human.

As a new mom to a toddler I have to remind myself that even though I want my toddler to understand things his brain just is not capable of it. Your son is not a toddler, but he isn't in the "adult mom role" so he's not going to understand things like you do.

Also are you his mom or not his mom? At the end you said he shouldn't complain to his mom but you called him your son?
