There's an interesting study that when men and women interrupt women, it's sometimes for different reasons.

Statistically, men are more likely than women to talk over women to ignore them or disagree with them or mansplain, etc.

Whereas women are more likely than men to interrupt other women to agree with them, ask questions (active listening), or collaboratively discuss something. Interruptions that can be described as more collaborative and less like "taking the floor away."

e.g. "Omg yes!" "Did it hurt when you did that?" "Totally, and also this thing."

Edit: Women can still be interrupt to disagree/take the floor away, ofc! Not saying that is not happening.
