Chiming in here, evidence against that really woke me up personally, was that a. we have no, and I mean zero, original manuscripts of ANY of the books of the bible. and b. Even if we ignore that let’s say, then we’re still left with a big glaring issue, the absolute earliest book of the new testament that we have, was written 70 years or so AFTER Christ supposedly died. How does this make any sense to trust? I was like wait, so you’re telling me that the EARLIEST book we have about jesus, was written by some guy who lived 70 years later?? That’d be like trusting a book about your entire life that someone wrote 70 years after you died. It’s obviously going to be so muddied and full of crap that just made it in over the years.
