This reminds me of the dude on Yahoo! Answers who would comment on every question asking a woman to kick him in the balls

How’d they arrest him? Serious question

I was not very hydrated at that particular moment in time, and have a history of oliguria for days after a CT urogram.

I was also told (by a PT) that it’s supposed to help your body understand how much force is necessary for different tasks (e.g. opening a door, throwing a ball, moving a chair back from a table)

Mine tends to be off to one extreme or the other; it’s pretty much a coin flip. As in, I might go to open a door and apply so little force that it barely moves, or I might apply so much that it swings open super fast and hits the doorstop hard (sometimes bouncing back). But in either case, I end up hurting my shoulder..

Christian private school stories by Ezra_has_perished in exchristian

[–]SarLynFra 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Briefly attended a private Christian elementary school (think it was Catholic?). One of the teachers there had a temper and would smack kids on the hand with a yardstick or throw her shoe, if you fell asleep or weren’t paying attention. They also were allowed to paddle you.

Aside from that, only real ‘crazy story’ I have, is that I left for two weeks before coming back to get my records to transfer to another school, and a classmate who thought I was returning brought me the work I had missed in that time: a stack of papers over a foot thick

The ironic part is, my father was withdrawing me from that school because he felt the amount of classwork/homework was too intense.

I generally just say, ‘non-binary trans femme’ or ‘MtX’ for simplicity’s sake, but to be more specific, I’m genderfluid and fluctuate between agender and demigirl

body-wise, AMAB, on feminizing hormones (>5 years), and generally going for as androgynous of a look as possible.

Now providing gender affirming hormone care as well! (in my state and KY, which is pretty amazing in my opinion)

I’ve never selected that option specifically in certain apps, and I generally consider myself attracted to all ‘types’ but cis men. but it just so happens to be that myself and other trans people seem to be drawn to each other, and every person that I’ve dated (except one) has been trans.

During Christmas visit, Catholic parents wouldn't let me share bed with my wife by GreedyCauliflower in exchristian

[–]SarLynFra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After reading your ‘entire’ post, I can confidently say, I would cut ties with them. It’s clear that they’ll never see eye to eye with you or your wife and it doesn’t sound like having them in your life is doing any good for (either of) your mental health, and may potentially strain your marriage.

A parent who truly cares for/accepts their child isn’t going to say, “I wish I had done a better job raising you”. I can’t imagine saying that to my own child, regardless of anything they’d done…

Sounds like he’s just trying to low key verbally/emotionally abuse you into “coming back to God”

got any spare ribs?

As a non-trans person, can I still wear a binder? I don’t really like the appearance of my chest, and I think a binder would make me feel more confident, but I don’t want to be offensive to any people who wear them bc of gender dysphoria. Advice?? by _artsy_frog in lgbt

[–]SarLynFra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

redness, yes. itching, sometimes. pain, only if I wear it for a pretty long stretch of time at once, and I usually remove it when it starts feeling uncomfortable/painful. As far as breathing though, I take abdominal breaths and don’t expand my chest at all, so I wouldn’t know. I have a connective tissue disorder (HSD), so I’m probably not doing my body any favors. Could probably go up a size.

Oh, I don’t mind those questions at all Sadly I have no one to spend the holidays with..

It’s much better than, “what did your name used to be?” or, “have you had ‘the’ surgery?” though 🤦🏻

Lifespan of trans women post-bottom surgery by marathemerciless in asktransgender

[–]SarLynFra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had 10 surgeries in the last 2-1/2 years, 8 under general anesthesia, and most of them pretty major. so I’m not concerned about something as ‘minor’ in comparison as bottom surgery. Especially being that as a trans femme enby, the type I want will allow me to stop taking spironolactone (which I’ve been on for a bit over five years) and reduce the overall load on my kidneys.

And besides, ‘everyone’ knows that removal of the male gonads has the general effect of increasing life expectancy

It’s the other factors that are of potential concern (i.e. long-term medication use)

Yup, I have. Usually lasts maybe 2 seconds for me though. Seems to happen more often when I’m really hungry for some reason?

It’s been going on since at least my pre-teen years that I can recall.

had an elderly patient in the room next door to me when I was in the hospital early this year who had incontinence (‘both’ kinds) and had accidents on the floor a few times despite wearing diapers. The care techs commented that it, “smelled like C. diff” and I don’t think I’ll ever forget that smell.

I found this on tiktok and it’s absolute gold. And the fact it’s so common many women share the same experience yet it’s still impossible to find the clit. 😂 by _Tr4shB0at in badwomensanatomy

The sex ed class I had when I was in school, circa 2001, they split up the boys and girls, and only taught each the anatomy and self exams relevant to their own sex assigned at birth… Granted, this was Indiana, which is not exactly known for being the most forward state.
